GXRZ-series high/low pressure thin oil lubrication apparatus is mainly suitable for gear lubrication oil system of bulb
tubular hydraulic- turbine generator units and for the lubrication for its other device, and is also suitable for
hydrostatic/hydrodynamic journal bearings of machine tools and its mechanic lubrication. The working media is
N22~N320 extreme –pressure industrial gear oil, oil-film bearing oil and other mechanical lubricant oils.
Principles of hydrostatic/hydrodynamic lubrication: when the generator starts, low-speed operates and stops,
the high pressure system is utilized to form hydrostatic oil film; when the operation speed of the generator is
large enough to form hydrodynamic oil film, the high pressure pump stop oil supply and the low pressure pump
starts oil supply to maintain the fluid frictional conditions. The lubrication form the low pressure oil pump can be realized by conveying.
Oil directly to the locations to be lubricated .In an electrical system, normally the lubricant oil is conveyed by low
pressure pump to head oil tank, and then the head oil tank supplies the oil to the locations to be lubricated.
Head oil tank consists of a hub oil tank and a gravitational oil tank.
This thin oil lubrication apparatus consists mainly of oil station, meter panel and control system. When used in
the thin oil lubrication system of hydraulic- turbine generator, it also includes head oil tank (a hub oil tank and
a gravitational oil tank), oil drip tank and oil drip pump.
Thin oil station consists of low pressure oil supply system and high oil supply system. The oil of both high and low
pressure oil supply pumps is directly from the oil tank of thin oil station. The low pressure system has a working
pressure of 0.4~0.63MPa, and the high pressure system has a maximum working pressure of 25MPa, adjustable
based on working pressure and flow rate. High pressure pump’s jacking up pressure is generally set at 20MPa.
Thin oil station consists mainly of the following components: main oil tank, oil drip tank(within the main oil tank),
low pressure double-cylindrical net filter, 2 high pressure filter, low pressure 2 oil pumps, 2 high pressure oil pumps,
oil drip pump, auxiliary heater , tubular oil cooler and pipe valves. The thin oil station is designed as a whole system.
Head oil tank consists of hub oil tank, gravitational oil tank and heater.
When the generator starts or stops, one high pressure oil pump is operating and the other one is standing by.
When thin oil station is operating normally, one low pressure oil pump is operating and the other one is standing by.
This thin oil lubrication apparatus has the features of filtering, cooling, heating, safety, automatic control and alarming.
Automation of the oil station is very high: there are two control systems available: Programmable Logic Control （PLC）
and relay control.PLC system includes DCS interfaces.
1 the effective capacity of the head oil tank may be selected to assure 5 to 8 minutes of oil supply in case of power
failure of the low-voltage system.
The use may also determine its capacity based on working conditions.
2.Head oil tank consists of a hub oil tank and a gravitational oil tank, and they can be also equipped separately if needed.
